The glasses industry is one of the pillar and characteristic industries in Danyang City. The city produces over 100 million pairs of frames and over 400 million pairs of lenses annually, with lens production accounting for 75% of the national production and 40% of the world total. As a provincial-level cross-border e-commerce industrial park, Danyang Glasses E-commerce Industrial Park has a total of 218 glasses enterprises, including foreign trade operation and sales enterprises, comprehensive service enterprises, e-commerce training enterprises, etc. Among them, there are 68 enterprises engaged in cross-border e-commerce business.
